Rui Du Mechanical and electrical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce its partnership with Sinohydro Group Ltd. in bidding for the Ethiopian Electrical Testing Equipment Project. The joint bid was submitted on May 30, 2023.
The aim of this collaboration was to provide advanced electrical testing equipment as part of the DDAHD transmission project in Ethiopia. Rui Du Mechanical and electrical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. demonstrated its expertise and dedication to delivering high-quality solutions in the power sector.
On June 28, 2023, we received news that China Electric Power Construction Corporation International (CEPCI), a subsidiary of Sinohydro Group Ltd., won the bid for the Addis Ababa Distribution Network SCADA Distribution Management System (DMS) and telecommunication system project, which is a crucial component of the DDAHD project in Ethiopia.
After approximately two weeks of production, Rui Du Mechanical and Electrical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the manufacturing and factory calibration tests for the first batch of goods. These goods are now packaged and ready for shipment, ensuring prompt delivery.
The Addis Ababa Distribution Network SCADA DMS and telecommunication system project holds great significance in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the distribution network in Ethiopia's capital city. Rui Du Mechanical and Electrical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. takes pride in contributing to this endeavor by providing state-of-the-art electrical testing equipment.
While the first batch of goods has been produced and prepared for shipment, there is another batch that is currently undergoing order confirmation. The company anticipates further progress and updates in the near future.
